The Słupsk Special Economic Zone was set up in 1997. The aim of the SSEZ is to support the development of the Central Pomerania Region through solutions considering and taking advantage of unique conditions of the region as well as to create conditions for steady economic development oriented towards market economy. We care about our companies and we seek for new investors to invest in the Region. Over a period spanning 15 years many companies have made their investments in our zone. They represent not only Polish capital but also that of Switzerland, Canadian, Cyprus, Italy, Norway, Finland and Sweden. They have invested a total of PLN 1.23 billion and employ nearly 3650 staff (2012).

Main sectors represented in the zone:

  • wood processing,
  • plastic processing,
  • food processing,
  • automotive glass manufacturing,
  • metal processing,
  • production of concrete and prefabricated elements,
  • transport and logistics services,
  • storage services (cold storage plants).
