Slupsk Special Economic Zone

The Slupsk Special Economic Zone was set up in 1997.

The aim of the SSEZ is to support the development of the Central Pomerania Region through solutions considering and taking advantage of unique conditions of the region as well as to create conditions for steady economic development oriented towards market economy.

We care about our companies and we seek for new investors to invest in the Region.

Over a period spanning 15 years many companies have made their investments in our zone. They represent not only Polish capital but also that of Switzerland, Canadian, Cyprus, Italy, Norway, Finland and Sweden. They have invested a total of PLN 1.23 billion and employ nearly 3650 staff (2012).

Main sectors represented in the zone:

• wood processing,

• plastic processing,

• food processing,

• automotive glass manufacturing,

• metal processing,

• production of concrete and prefabricated elements,

• transport and logistics services,

• storage services (cold storage plants).

SIT siedziba Słupsk Technology Incubator is a flagship investment of Pomeranian Regional Development Agency.


The building of a new 7000 sq m business and technology site has been co-financed from the Regional Operational Programme for the Pomeranian Voivodeship for the period 2007-2013 under the „Building and equipment of Słupsk Technology Incubator” project.

It is not only the most modern office and manufacturing facility offering its space to firms but also a place providing favourable conditions to business development and mutual cooperation where support for entrepreneurs is promoted.

Incubator offer is targeted at micro, small and medium-size enterprises. It was created to facilitate development and operation of modern companies implementing innovative projects. The building is intended for development of businesses from the following sectors: ICT, control engineering and robotics, renewable energy, as well as metal and welding. It is also a perfect place for companies representing other industries that want to grow and carry out interesting ideas. For the companies that decide to base their operations in the Incubator as well as meet certain legal conditions there is a chance to obtain permission to set up their business activity in Słupsk Special Economic Zone, which in turn enables them to get tax exemption.
